Our Story

Ayinla Film Locations (AFL) began with a simple but powerful realization: finding the perfect location for film shoots, photoshoots, or events in Nigeria was unnecessarily difficult. Creatives were constantly scouting neighborhoods, knocking on doors, and relying on unreliable contacts. Property owners, on the other hand, had unused spaces, apartments, rooftops, gardens, but didn’t know how to safely rent them out or connect with the right people.

Our founder, Ideraoluwa Awobokun, experienced these struggles firsthand while working in the creative space. Frustrated by wasted time, high costs, and safety concerns, he envisioned a solution: a verified, secure marketplace where property owners and creatives can meet, collaborate, and thrive together.

Today, AFL is transforming how Africa’s creative and event industries find and book spaces, starting in Nigeria, with ambitions to scale across the continent.
